Children’s Programs at the Dows Community Library

Each month, the Dows Community Library offers engaging, kid‑friendly programs designed to spark curiosity, support learning, and give families a welcoming place to connect. Our After School Program meets every Wednesday from 3:00–5:00 PM starting September 2nd, providing school‑age children with a fun mix of crafts, activities, reading time, and hands‑on projects to keep minds active and creativity flowing. Younger children can enjoy Tiny Tots Story Time, held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, where infants, toddlers, and preschoolers gather for stories, songs, movement, and early‑literacy play. Together, these programs help children of all ages discover new interests, build confidence, and make joyful memories at their community library.
