Looking for a friendly place to unwind in the middle of the week? Stop by the Dows Community Library every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to Noon for Free Coffee Wednesdays—a simple, welcoming space to enjoy a cup of Joe and a casual chat with neighbors.
 
Whether you’re catching up with friends, meeting someone new, or just taking a quiet moment for yourself, we’ll have fresh coffee ready and plenty of books available for checkout if you’re in the mood to browse.

Discover a welcoming space to relax, create, and connect. Our Adult Craft Program brings community members together each month for simple, enjoyable, hands‑on projects designed for all skill levels. Whether you’re trying a new hobby, revisiting a favorite craft, or just looking for a friendly place to unwind, these sessions offer a chance to explore your creativity in good company.

Each month features a different project—seasonal décor, upcycled art, beginner‑friendly techniques, and more—using materials provided by the library. Come for the crafting, stay for the conversation, and leave with something you’re proud to take home.

Settle in with a good book and a warm cup of coffee. Our Coffee & Book Club offers a cozy, conversation‑friendly space for adults who enjoy reading, sharing ideas, and connecting with others in the community. Every 4th Saturday of the month at 10AM, we gather to discuss a selected title—sometimes thought‑provoking, sometimes lighthearted, always worth talking about.

Whether you’re a lifelong reader or just looking for a welcoming group to join, you’ll find friendly faces, engaging discussions, and plenty of laughter around the table. Come sip, chat, and discover your next favorite book with us.
